A Legacy Of Talent Hits Vegas

Kyle Eastwood, son of Clint, brought his phenomenal jazz bass playing to the Santa Fe Hotel on Friday, September 7th to a sold out audience.

Another legacy of greatness is Tito Puente Jr., who is carving his own niche in the jazz world these days, and who will be performing three great nights of latin jazz, September 14-16, at the Suncoast Hotel in Las Vegas.

Jazz violinist Michael Ward, who tore it up this past July for a one night performance, returns to the Plaza Hotel, September 15th.

Smooth chart buster, saxophonist Michael Lington, will be at the Santa Fe Station on September 15th.

Robert Cray brings his blues mastery to the Railhead Showroon inside the Boulder Station Hotel on September 21st.

Kudos to Santa Fe And The Fat City Horns for releasing their live CD, recorded at the Palms Hotel. The band reflects a lot of tightness and professionalism, not to mention some great tunes. The Palms has extended their loyalty to this unit based on a packed house every single Monday night they have performed.

Rocky Gordon will return to the Gordon Biersch Brewery on Sunday, September 16th, with some new material inclusive with selections from his current release, Alone In The Crowd. And congrats goes out to Rocky's daughter, who was an American Idol Top 12 finalist from Season 4. Mikalah Gordon is currently filming an episode for CBS' The Unit as the prime guest star, the character being a pop star performing in Iraq. it's her first major breakout role.
